2 Advertising Vehicles That Produce Immediate Results

I have tried many advertising sources to obtain leads and build my online business. There are only two that have worked for me over the last 6 months.

Newsletter Advertising

One of the best ways to get your message in front of a targeted group of people is to advertise in a newsletter or ezine. An online newsletter provides information on a variety of topics. Typically the owner of the ezine or newsletter has developed a list of subscriber who receives information from the editor daily, weekly or monthly. Subscribers typically opt-in and request to receive this information. Newsletters or ezines typically have a subscriber base of several hundred to hundreds of thousands.

Advertising in a newsletter or ezine allows you to target your ad based on the readership or type of newsletter/ezine. If you are seeking to advertising a product to new moms you would use one of the many search engines and locate a newsletter or ezine specific to new moms. If you seeking to advertise a product or service to internet marketers, you would search for newsletters or ezines that cater to internet marketers.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising

Search engines allow advertisers to post ads on specific sections within the search pages of their website. Advertisers are able to target their market based on keyword. The ads are typically located on the right hand side or lower portion of the website. Once the ad is clicked; the advertiser is charged a fee. While there is a minimum bid amount, the advertiser controls how much they are willing to pay-per-click. Using pay-per-click advertising can allow you to generate traffic to your site immediately. I would caution you on getting caught up in the bidding wars for specific keywords as this can cost you a fortune. If your ad is created properly; using targeted keywords, you can decrease the amount you pay-per click.
